Nourish USA is a 501(c3) nonprofit organization that supports the work of Nourish Eco Village in South Africa by raising awareness and funding in the United States.
Dozens of species, including rhinos, leopards elephants and lions are threatened by poaching and the illegal wildlife trade. While millions of dollars are spent on fences and firearms the problem keeps getting bigger because the root cause isn't being addressed: poverty.
We believe the best way to support wildlife is to support people by giving them alternatives to a life of poverty or of wildlife crime.
The Nourish Eco-Village concept is an innovative approach to creating empowered communities on the outskirts of Africa's wildlife reserves and helps strengthen their conservation heritage. Through education, outreach and social programs we support people of all ages in finding new opportunities to allow them to coexist alongside Africa's iconic species, bridging the gap between communities and conservation
MISSION
Nourish International USA supports and enables the growth of resilient communities in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa through the Nourish Eco Village model operated by Nourish NPO.
This model is designed to be sustainable and easily duplicated. It is our goal to advance the Nourish model of promoting social cohesion and dignity by sharing information, building networks and raising funds to further education, enterprise, resilience and sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa.

We believe in creating positive psychosocial change. Our projects aim to nourish people who are:

Education Pathways
We provide educational opportunities for children from cradle to career through our early childhood development centre and outreach, after school and in-school programs.
Enterprise Development
We empower local community members to develop income-generating opportunities through training and skills development. We provide the confidence they need to be able to live well in harmony with their environment.
Sustainable Tourism
We connect curious and conscious travelers to transformative and impactful experiences. We believe authentic tourism experiences have the opportunity to break down socio-economic and racial barriers and bring people together.
